Understanding how the growth of sustainable agricultural production plays an integral role towards the quality of life and the overall advancement of our country, SIAM KUBOTA developed KUBOTA Farm as an experiential modern farm and a learning center where farmers can observe the use of Agriculture Solutions and Machinery Solutions that can help optimize farming efficiency. Considered the first educational and practical farming experience in Southeast Asia, KUBOTA Farm consists of 9 different zones on an expansive 220-rai land.
Additionally, KUBOTA Farm has embraced the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, a royal initiative introduced by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and created the New Theory Agriculture Zone to showcase land optimization management with new theory of farming and machinery solutions. Displayed in this zone are also cutting-edge technologies that can assist farmers in their approach towards New Theory Agriculture in order to eventually achieve 3 basic principles of life, namely self-sufficiency, contribution to others, and generating income by selling their cultivation products for a profit.
In the heart of the farm lies “Kaset Chaipat” exhibition building whose name was specially conferred by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, meaning “The source of success and agricultural prosperity.” The Princess also allowed the Farm to install Her Highness initials on the sign board. Inside, there is “King of Agriculture” Hall of Honor dedicated to the royal duties and royal projects of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. There are also exhibitions about the history of KUBOTA Farm, 360o LCD presentations detailing each zone in the Farm, IoT innovations such as KAS Crop Calendar Application and other agricultural solutions.
